Modern Talking - The 1st Album and Kraftwerk -Trans Europe Express

The First album by Modern Talking is a 'how to do perfect Italo-Disco lesson'. brilliantly devised and produced this is a blast. the first four songs 'You're My Heart , You're My Soul', 'You Can Win If You Want', 'Theres Too Much Blue In Missing You' and 'Diamonds Never Made a Lady'  are perfect emotionally deep Synth pop songs. Incredibly catchy hooks my only trouble is that they don't go for long enough and could be given disco extended mix treatment. 'Lucky Guy' is another Highlight. 8/10

Kraftwerk's Sixth Studio Album is a ride through Desolation. a bleak pouring out of no emotion and robot prowess. The Track 'The Hall of Mirrors is just a bleak sounding haunting electro ballad about movie and film stars changing their appearance in the Hall Of Mirrors. Showroom Dummies is another highlight as here we find Kraftwerk and their most unhinging and seriously in your face. 9.5/10
