Kraftwerk - The Man Machine and Jean Michel Jarre - Oxygene

as a whole, Kraftwerk's The Man Machine is an enthralling listen from start to finish. opener 'The Robots' beats along to an almost comical edge. 'Spacelab' is excellent, so Is 'Metropolis'. 'The Model' is the closest they ever had to a pop song. 'Neon Lights' is like an electronic folk ballad. 'The Man Machine' is also brilliant. As a whole, The Man Machine works as a alternative pop hit, with plenty of pop hooks to please, but its a crucial leap for Kraftwerk as its a pop crossover, a massive leap for Karktwerk and a massive leap for synth pop as a genre. 10/10

Jean Michel Jarres Oxygene is overall  pretty good. it ushered in a whole scene of electronic music into the mainstream, and his influence can be heard throughout Daft Punk's music and Justice of course. modern french house and electronica, as well as mainstream western music and electronica there. his concerts are some of the biggest staged of all time. very appealing to fans of electronica and a must listen. 8/10
