Another Green World is , without a doubt, very experimental, with pop edges. Brian Eno finds himself on 'Sky Saw' the opening track, with metallic sounds could be a guitar I don't really know. 'St Elmo's Fire' is a nice slow song with lyrics 'In the cool august moon' its got some amazing electric guitar work too. In 'Dark Trees' an instrumental track with nice guitar. 'The Big Ship' is truly excellant probably the best song on the album that will get played over and over again as you find yourself lost in its momentary lapse of awakening. 'I'll Come Running' it sweet experimental pop reminiscent of Roxy Music. Eno's lyrics I want to be the wandering sailor' tells you that Eno is up for a ride. Another Green World is full of Instrumental gems and it seem Bowie and Eno at this stage in their Careers opted for instrumental tracks as the music speaks for itself. vocals would just get in the way of these tiny miniscule masterpieces like 'Sombre Reptiles' and 'Another Green World'. 'Golden Hours' is simply brilliant with lyrics like 'I think its been an eternity' and 'perhaps my brains are old and scrambled' excellant guitar and backing vocals in this track. Perhaps Eno wants us to find a bit of ourselves in his music. its a matserpiece of the instrumental track, but the vocals are good too 9/10
This album by Giorgio Moroder, came before From Here To Eternity, the electro disco pulsating gem. and its definitely in the disco category, but without electro pulses. instead its just live instruments with synth bass and wah wah guitar. Knights in white satin in three parts is electrical. with piano and wah. 'I want you I need you' and sexually stirred, groovy and without a doubt brilliant. Oh l'amour is continuing in the disco vein with strings and Giorgio's rasp seductive vocals, singing in french so its very sensual. Sooner Or later is kind of flat. but I wanna Funk With You Tonight makes up for the last track. brilliant sensual backing vocals. Giorgio aims to make dance able tunes with a disco futuristic edge, thats what makes this music timeless because, the sounds he goes for are the future, and Giogio is still ahead of everybody elses games. 8/10
